Marcel Haas
Marcel is co-founder, CEO, and Solution Architect at Collaboration NEXT GmbH in Bern. He created MH – Applied AI as the dedicated forward-deployed AI offering of Bear Intelligence GmbH, connecting enterprise software, infrastructure, edge systems, and robotics.
He also founded Power Agency, a separate practice focused on Power Platform architecture and enablement.
His public CNEXT profile confirms his CEO and Solution Architect role and lists Microsoft Applied Skills: SharePoint and Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
A platform career across transitions
Marcel has worked with SharePoint since 2006, from on-premises deployments through BPOS in 2009, Office 365, and today’s Microsoft 365. That continuity informs his approach to migration, governance, adoption, and enterprise-scale operation.
His current work connects Microsoft 365 and Power Platform with Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, and virtual agents, using citizen-development approaches where they make technology more accessible without weakening engineering control.

From robotics operations to embodied AI
Marcel’s robotics background predates today’s generative and embodied AI wave. He led engineering for the technical foundation around AutoStore systems in the Swisslog environment, supporting highly available operation, international on-site service, and 24×7 support.
The work connected warehouse management, conveyors, picking, real-time computing, monitoring, automation, incident response, and operational handover. That experience is why MH – Applied AI treats uptime, observability, human supervision, and knowledge transfer as part of the robotics system rather than aftercare.
His current skills context also includes the CNEXT AI Labs Misty project built by the team he co-leads: Azure Speech and Azure OpenAI connected to vision, conversation, automation, and live ERP data on an open social-robotics platform. The implementation is attributed to the CNEXT AI Labs team rather than to Marcel alone.
Recognition and product work
Microsoft recognized Marcel with the Community Contributor Award (MCC) in 2012 for his contributions to the Office 365 community forums.
